Abstract
Examines the development of oral history collections at the St. Augustine and Mona campuses of the UWI. Argues that the two societies discussed, Trinidad and Tobago and Jamaica, can be considered fertile ground for the flourishing of oral history programmes, given their cultural diversity occasioned by historical experience of Amerindian settlement, European colonisation, slavery, indentureship, and migration.....
