Abstract
Describes the growth of Rastafari, from a small sect in Kingston Jamaica to a Third World religion that has won adherents in other parts of the world. Discusses certain beliefs which are being modified, such as those concerning Haile Selassie's divinity and immortality; the ritual process and the use of marijuana. Concludes that these developments will have an impact on the movement, even in Jamaica itself, as efforts will be made to establish networks and linkages between all its various manifestations.....
