Abstract
Recent shelled cephalopods from the Caribbean region have only a limited diversity. Extant nautiloids do not occur in the region, but this group has a moderately good fossil record throughout the Caribbean from the Paleocene to Miocene. Schmidt and Jung (1993) documented three species from Jamaica, all of Eocene age. The paper adds to this fauna, discussing specimens from the Paleocene, Eocene, and Miocene of the island, thus showing the diversity and stratigraphic range of this group.....
