Abstract
Posits that in the clinical context one of the most important controversies in the field of psychiatry centres on the clinical existence of a clearly delineated entry called cannabis psychosis. This is a dubious clinical concept not recognised nosologically by two popular psychiatric classification systems, DMM IV or ICD 10. Presents five case studies which reflect the four major diagnostic categories with which the diagnosis is often confused.
