Abstract
The terpenoid fraction of the extract from Cola acuminata, a member of the Sterculiaceae family, has been examined for the first time. Taraxeryl acetate, friedelin, epifriedelin, sitosterol and vanillic acid were isolated from the leaves and twigs of the plant.
