Abstract
Argues that teachers, in general, have limited training on how to handle students' misbehaviours in the school, mainly because many teacher training programmes do not lay emphasis on how to handle students disruptive behaviours in the classroom and the school. Observes that many teachers are now aware that the use of punitive and confrontational methods to solve students disruptive behaviours is counter productive and in many cases ineffective. This is because these confrontational methods tend to cause fears and escalate students' emotions and may make the students more aggressive or withdrawn in the school.....
