Abstract
A welded tuff boulder was discovered in the Hog Hole River, Gordon Town, St. Andrew and is the first of its kind to be reported from the Wagwater Belt. The flattened fiammae indicate that it is a densely welded tuff with an apparent flattening ratio that is greater than 6. The mineralogy and major-element chemistry indicate that it belongs to the Newcastle Volcanic Formation which is confined to the Wagwater Belt.
