Abstract
Objective: To determine whether class 1 HLA-A, -Band TNF-à genetic variants are associated with cervical dysplasia. Method: subjects were genotyped for (1) HLA class 1 A & B (CIN III cancer = 68, controls = 88) and (2) TNF-à (CIN I, II, III, cancer = 240, controls = 102). Methods: Subjects were genotyped for (1) HLA class 1 A & B (CIN III and cancer = 68, controls = 88) and (2) TNF-à (CIN I, II, III, cancer = 240, controls = 102).
Conclusion: TNF-à SNP-308 in this population is asociated with cervical dysplasia independent of the class I-A-B MHC genes/haplotypes.....
