Abstract
A review of 157 patients, at the University Hospital of the West Indies (UHWI), subjected to endoscopic retrograde cholanhiopancreatogrsphy (ERCP) revealed a high cannulation success rate. Females accounted for over two-third of cases and the majority had ERCP as diagnostic procedure. While the overall morbidity was acceptable, the rate of pancreatitis was higher than expected.
