Abstract
Discusses the characteristics and functions of the Program for Resettlement and Integrated Development Enterprise (Operation PRIDE), launched by Jamaica’s Prime Minister, the Honorable P. J. Patterson in 1994. The Programme is a unique method of making land legally accessible to low income groups at affordable prices through some government subsidies. The author also lists and discusses the Government, Non-governmental and funding institutions directly involved with the Programme.
