Abstract
Jamaicaís Diasporan community has sought to increase its connection to Jamaica in a number of ways, one of the most intriguing is the staging of homecomings in the parishes of Jamaica. The most recently held was the Hanover Homecoming and it was initiated and coordinated by the Hanover Homecoming Foundation based in New York City. This paper explores the planning and implementation process of this homecoming particularly in itís utilization of the Internet and other communication technologies.
