Abstract
Reviews the adoption of drug courts in Jamaica and questions whether they are the appropriate response to Jamaica's drug related problems and will lead to a reduction in arrests for violations of Jamaica's Dangerous Drugs Act. Concludes by questioning the recommendation, in Jamaica's recently concluded Commision for the Decriminalization of Ganja, that decriminalizing the use and possession of marijuana would help to alleviate Jamaica's problems of crime and violence.....
