Abstract
Expresses some concern about the impact of CSMF on the OECS countries. Calls for special concessions to be made to these countries, including the financing of the Regional Development Fund which is intended to assist these countries in coping with any adverse impact resulting from the implementation of the CSME. Also states that the OESC countries which have a supply of unskilled labour have an interest in ensuring that the free movement of labour in the context of the CSME is broadened to include such unskilled labour. On the specific issue of production integration, she believes that the concept should focus not only on goods but on services. Expressing fears about the potential marginalization of the OECS countries, she asserts that the regional integration process will be judged by its ability to promote equitable development and by avoiding the marginalization of these countries.....
