Abstract
A 1.0% solution of ALKS1, an alkaloidal extract obtained from Trophis racemosa, produced a significant fall in intraocular pressure in the dog's eye (p<0.001). The fall was antagonized by atropine (p<0.0025), suggesting ALKS1 is acting through a muscarinic mode of action.
